βš™οΈ State Descriptions

As items, characters, and scenes change throughout your story, their appearance and descriptions can change too.

πŸŒ— State Descriptions allow you to provide images, descriptions, or both that are displayed when specific state conditions are met. This makes your world feel dynamic and allows players to see the lasting effects of their actions.

A State Description can contain:

  • πŸ–ΌοΈ An image
  • πŸ“ A description
  • πŸ–ΌοΈπŸ“ Both an image and a description

To create a State Description, provide an image, a description, or both, then define the conditions that determine when it should be displayed.

πŸ’‘ Builder Tip: Keep each State Description focused on a single change whenever possible. Smaller descriptions can be combined to create rich, dynamic scenes without having to write dozens of complete scene descriptions.
